Unique opportunity for a talented Applications Developer providing technical expertise and support to a significant client serviced by a high growth PE backed managed services business

Role Purpose

As a member of the Acora Applications department, the Dynamics NAV Developer is responsible for fulfilling a development role, with customer site presence as required, providing technical expertise and support to a variety of contracted services and project customers.

Working within a team, the role requires you to be competent across the Acora offering from the Microsoft Dynamics Suite and related third party solutions, including specifically (but not exclusively), Microsoft Dynamics NAV, ZetaDocs, Jet Reports, Orbis, OCR, Planner One and MobileNAV, Microsoft CRM, .Net and SharePoint.

As a fee-earning resource, your work will be allocated so as to ensure optimal utilisation of your time and income opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Work in partnership with customers, to advise and deliver business solutions that best meet their company objectives and/or overcome specific problems.
Recommend proactively, improvements to customer systems and Acora process that would benefit both the customer and Acora.
Deploy all technologies in strict accordance with the company’s agreed ‘coding standards’ and the project management framework at all times.
To collaborate with other team members throughout Acora to share information to enhance the overall knowledge and service offering to deliver ‘best-in-class’ service levels to all customers.
To maintain a level of technological competence that remains current and fit-for-purpose, highlighting any training needs to your line manager where appropriate
To ensure where possible, or highlight where not, that Acora fulfils its contractual obligations to its contracted services customers.
To adopt and endorse the company’s values (as above) and vision to be “game changing”, across all aspects of the role at all times.
To endorse and co-operate fully with the Business Improvement process, participating in or contributing to, designated change projects as required.
Such additional tasks or projects as may be required by the Board or management team, in support of the Company’s commercial objectives from time to time.
To understand your role in the delivery of the company’s Business continuity objectives.

Skills and Experience

A passion for technology and motivation to quickly develop a wide range of technical skills
Hands on experience with help desk and remote control software
Solid technical background with an ability to give instructions to a non-technical audience
Customer-service oriented with a problem-solving attitude
Able to collaborate with different teams across the programme to promote a Quality Culture
Knowledge of Navision
Strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive
Strong ability to deliver presentations
Effectiveness in time management
Ability to handle sensitive business information
Full UK driving licence
