On Friday the 15th
of March, staff from IT outsourcing
company Acora participated in doing something funny for money” and so far have raised (£248 with more money due) for comic relief.
For one day only a mixture of witches, bears, tigers and hawaiin dancing girls roamed the building as willing volunteers dressed up in silly costumes to support the cause.
In addition, the Acora bake off allowed Acora ‘wannabe’ masterchefs get creative and resulted in a successful bake sale, with a carrot and walnut winning the vote for tastiest cake.
Throughout the day, the team carried out dares including a company long conga line, pretending to be a chicken, jumping on one leg, insulting colleagues and singing during meetings. One colleague even shaved half of his beard off.
“We really enjoyed letting our hair down and it was great to see everyone getting involved and doing their bit for such a good cause” T Perkins (EA to CEO)
